Commercial Mold Clean Up
When water intrudes it only takes twenty-four to forty-eight hours for mold to grow. It grows quickly since the spores are wafted through the air spreading wherever the breeze sends them. Once the spores settle all they need is moisture to begin to grow.
In this case the moisture was beneath the laminate flooring and behind the base boards. All of flooring had to be removed.
The second picture shows what the walls and flooring look like after all the fungus had been removed. The cement floor is still wet and will need to be dried out fully before the repairs can be started.
